      Our company policy is to not charge freight on a second shipment from the same sales order and warehouse shipment (shipping backordered items). How can we manage and/or automate this, so that a customer is not invoiced for shipping charges, and/or billed directly to the customer’s third party shipping account?

        Hello Rebecca,

        Dynamic Ship does not currently include a standard setting for this scenario. Freight Price Rules are applied per physical shipment rather than per sales order, so a subsequent shipment for backordered items would be evaluated separately. To automate a one-time freight charge per sales order would require a custom extension
