Background
When using Insight Works License Plates, there is no direct way to see which License Plates were shipped once a pick/warehouse shipment is posted.
Current Process (Issue)
The current workaround requires users to copy the Sales Order No. and manually search for it in the Warehouse Insights License Plate list. This breaks down when:
- A single Sales Order is fulfilled from multiple locations
- A Sales Order results in multiple warehouse shipments and posted sales shipments
In these scenarios, it is difficult to determine which License Plates belong to which shipment.
Problem
Users cannot reliably track License Plates by Posted Sales Shipment for a Sales Order. This makes shipment validation, audits, and customer enquiries unnecessarily complex and error-prone.
Requested Enhancement
Provide a way to view License Plates by Warehouse Shipment, with clear linkage back to:
- The originating Sales Order
- The related Posted Sales Shipment
This should be accessible directly from the Posted Sales Shipment with no manual searching.

- Accurate traceability across locations and partial shipments
- Clear mapping of physical handling units to documents
- Faster resolution of delivery and POD queries
- Reduced warehouse dependency
