      We have a client that we are running into some challenges with the thermal cash receipt.  First, the receipt does not automatically “cut” between customer and merchant. Are there only specific printers recommended for the thermal receipt, and is this a driver feature or a setting in the counter sales setup that I may have missed? Additionally, I have not been able to default to only the customer copy printing when completing the sale.  Is this selection only available on the posted document?

        Hello Heather,

        Thermal Cash Receipt:
        For printers with cutting functionality, this behavior is typically controlled through the printer setup. Counter Sales does not include additional settings for this.

        Cash Register Invoice Receipt:
        It is possible to default the Cash Register Invoice Receipt to print only the Customer copy. To do this, use the Copies to Print option in the print request window. Change the option to Customer Only, then select the print action. The Copies to Print setting saves the last selected option and will be used as the default going forward.
