We’re having an issue where if a user scans a barcode (doesn’t matter what, pick ticket, putaways) it’ll scan the first barcode with no issue. However, when it tries to scan the next barcode, it acts as if it doesn’t register. We have tried this with multiple bins and items and still the same issue. Is this a Insight Works configuration? We’re using Zebra scanners and we’ve validated that the scanners are set to scan correctly.john atkinsonMarch 10, 2022 at 12:45 pmPost count: 23
Your probably missing a setting on the Zebra scanner. The issue might be you have com.insightWorks.warehouseInsight. The potential issue is with the uppercase W and I in the above string. I recommend trying the below steps to see if it fixes the scanning issue. Change the W and I to lowercase letters.
Zebra dataWedge Config
1. Open DataWedge2. Select Profile for Warehouse Insight -> Application Assigment3. Click the ellipsis on the top right -> Add Application Assignment -> com.insightworks.warehouseinsight -> select the ‘*’ (star) optionJustin FreresMarch 15, 2022 at 1:51 pmPost count: 2Justin FreresMarch 16, 2022 at 1:06 pmPost count: 2
For a bit more clarity. The issue is with basic and advanced counting. For example count > scan bin > (registers bin at bottom, says scan item) > scan item, enter qty ok. From here no-matter what you scan, a fake barcode the item keep popping up asking for qty. Stuck in loop. Can goto physical inventory journal and remove and start over same result.
Where is the list of downloads for the Warehouse Insight apks? Do we have to request the apk? Is 2.5 the latest for android?

We have now released version 2.6, and it is available.
Depending on your warehouse set, will determine if you can use basic count or if you need to use advanced.
Are you still having issues with Scanning after your initial scan?
