      Hello,
      A customer has requested if after creating the quoting item using the configurator on the sales quote, if we can select it again and tweak a bit, so that the system should create a new item. Because usually they have 20+ attributes, so its not feasible to use the product configurator again, just to create almost identical item but change just 1-2 attributes.

      Is there any other way?

        Hello Hritika,

        You can open the BOM Designer from the Sales Order and select ‘Load Existing Configured Item’. These details are stored as a historical reference on the Configurator BOM Details page whenever a configuration is made.

        After changes have been made to the quoting item, you can then convert the quoting item in an item where it will follow the number series assignment.
