September 1, 2022 at 8:02 amPost count: 3Hi,
Basic question but how can I decide which barcode format I want to print for my item labels? Right now, it’s always printing Data Matrix but I want to print Code 128 format.
I don’t see where the configuration is in BC.
Thanks,

Instructions can be found in our knowledgebase:
https://kb.dmsiworks.com/knowledge-base/advanced-barcode-generation/
And a group of sample reports can be downloaded to get you started:

Note that Barcode Generator is not required to print Code 128 barcodes since Microsoft added the ability to do that in base Business Central:

I saw all the documentation but I can’t seem to find where I can define what format type of barcode I want to print. In example, I printed a barcode using the “Generic Item Barcode Label” window and it’s always printing Data matrix bar code but I want to print barcode type = code 39. How can I do that?

I have the same question as Jacynthe.
How do I change the format of the barcode that i want to print on my Item labels or any other documents.
Where can i change or select the barcode that i want to use.
By Default it only prints Data Matrix Format.
Please let me know.
Thank you.

For assistance with how to edit report AL and RDL code, you will need to contact your Business Central partner directly.
