February 7, 2023 at 8:05 pmPost count: 5We have been having difficulty getting a new installation of Order Ship Express to work on our Business Central cloud sandbox environment. We can complete setup, however we are unable to run Get Rates on a Sales Order.
EasyPost recently discontinued offering their UPS DAP Digital Access Program accounts. It seems that Order Ship Express may be looking for this specific type of account, as it does not seem to work with our existing UPS account that we added to EasyPost.
This is the error we receive when trying to use Get Rates on a Sales Order on a newly configured installation.
A rate could not be found for UPS GROUND with order order_c56d6bb79e58490484e11672af9797d4.

Thank you for patience. We’ve been working on getting clarity from EasyPost regarding this change.
You can still create a UPSDAP account with EasyPost, but it can no longer be done through their website. Instead you need to contact their support. They will then ask for contact and company details. If you already have a UPSDAP account, they may advise you to remove it. They will then add the UPSDAP account to your carriers and you can complete the wizard again to import the new account ID. We have a knowledge base article regarding this, just waiting on the publication.
We do also have a new release slated for mid April that removes the specific carrier limitation and will allow you to add any three carriers, be it the EasyPost provided ones or your own accounts.

April 10, 2023 at 8:54 amPost count: 5Thanks for getting back to me, Matthew.
EasyPost informed me that there is a significant backlog of these UPS DAP account requests that may take a month to clear. Do you have an ETA on the rollout of the new OSE release or is there a beta program that we could begin sooner?
Thanks.

April 10, 2023 at 9:26 amPost count: 5Hi Jared. The release is in the last stages of QA, so you should see it live in the store soon. I’m sorry to say that we do not have a beta program. Microsoft has started opening up the possibility of this, so it is something we may explore in the future.
Just for reference for anyone else coming across this, here’s our kb article regarding UPSDAP account creation.

Microsoft often stages region roll-outs and so it may not be available instantly, even if you see it listed as 1.1 in AppSource.

April 19, 2023 at 10:32 amPost count: 5Thanks, Matthew. We saw the new version, however we also got our DAP account created on the same day, so we were able to move forward with the original version.
Unfortunately, we are having a new different issue after upgrading to 1.1 that I will open a new forum topic to address.
Thanks for your help!
