      Hello,

It would be very helpful to have the ability to populate the Bin Code on individual count sheet lines by pasting from excel.

In my situation I am generating 1 count sheet per bin code to facilitate the physical counting process.

I can paste hundreds of sheet names from excel….but then I must set the Bin Code Manually….this is cumbersome

      Please improve 🙂

        Hi Jeffrey,

There should be no issues with pasting into the count sheet lines. If the only column you’re trying to paste is the Bin Code column, you have two ways of doing that in Business Central:

        1. Make sure that is the first field/column shown in the page, since Business Central pastes data into the fields in the order it finds it, or

        2. Copy all the exists rows from the sheets to Excel, fill in the bin code there, delete the lines in BC, and paste back all the columns up to the bin code (and quantity if you’ve entered it) back into BC.

That said, ideally you’d use the Generate Count Sheets batch, along with the bin filter on the count sheet configuration, to create the sheets with the appropriate bins rather than using Excel. If this isn’t working for you or you need assistance, please contact our support team at [email protected] for help.
