      Maintenance manager seems to work well for in house Items or those that are produced via manufacturing module. However in many cases there may be items that will be rented out i.e. for servicing at client sites and may need to be maintained on a regular basis. Therefore, wondering how you would set up something like that on the item card where an item could be rentable but would need to be maintained via maintenance manager as well. Would you in include it on service management and how would interact with the manufacturing module then for completing the maintenance?

        Hello Will,

        Currently Maintenance Manager only works with the Business Central Item Type of “Item” as it works with the Production Module in Business Central.

        Therefore, to be able to utilize both the Service Module and Maintenance Manager, two separate items would need to be created to represent the single piece of equipment.
