When breaking down the Average Usage calculation I can see that it is using the Item Ledger Entry Filter settings from the Setup options.

My client purchases into a storage location LOC1 and then transfers raw materials to a production locations LOC2.
With this setup I am able to calculate the Consumption entries from LOC2 as average usage which is fine. However as entry type Transfer is both a Positive and Negative Quantity value when I include Transfers it is netting off these totals for the period.

Is there a way I can get the Average usage calculation to only consider negative integer values? This would then allow the same setup to work for both scenarios.

        Hello Sean,

Yes, it is possible to only consider negative integer values.

To do so, navigate to the ‘Item Planning Review Setup‘ and under the ‘Advanced‘ FastTab, open the ‘Item Ledger Filter‘ by clicking the three dots; this will open the ‘Filter Page‘ window.

Next, by default the Entry Types will be filtered, you can edit those entry types as you wish. Next, click the ‘+ Filter‘ button, and find the filter labeled as ‘Quantity‘.

In the Textbox that displays next to the Quantity field, enter ‘<0‘.

Now you can proceed to close the Filter Page window and run the Item Planning Review.

        Thank you,
