Where would one set up Consumption and Output journals for use in SFI?  When selecting the “Consumption” or “Output” functions, I am getting an error stating, “Consumption cannot be registered. No batch name has been configured in the NAV Client Configuration table.”  Is this looking for the standard BC Consumption and Output journals or is there something special for SFI?  Thanks.

That error will be displayed when the Shop Floor Client configuration card used by the scanning station does not have a consumption batch defined for it.

A similar error will be displayed referencing the output batch if the client configuration card does not have an output batch defined for it.

        To correct this error:

        1. Navigate to “Shop Floor Client Configurations”
        2. Find the client card that corresponds to the scanning station. (There could be one or many client cards)
        3. In the “Production Order” fast tab, there is a field called “Consumption Batch Name”
        4. Select a batch name where the consumption entries will be saved.
        5. If the error displayed relates to output, find the “Output Batch Name” field on the same fast tab and select a batch name where the output entries will be saved.
        6. Close the client card.
        7. Reload the scanning station with CTRL-F5
