      Hi all.

      Since a few days, the app doesn’t recognize the bar codes and cross references anylonger, when we scan for example a supplier bar code during a receive operation. It seems to coincide with an update to version 1.10.

      For the previous year(s), it always worked perfectly. Now, every time we scan a supplier’s barcode, a screen pops up asking to which item the cross reference matches. The database in BC seems to be correct. The item does have the same cross references as before.

      Do you have any idea on how to solve this?

        Item cross-references do not exist any more in Business Central 22, so you will need to switch to using the new Item References instead. On the “Insight Works Barcode Rules” page, move the $1 for the old cross-reference rule to the new Item Reference Expression column:

        You can also change the description to something more up to date like “Item Reference” to make it easier to read.

        Your old cross-references should have been copied across automatically to item references, but if you have any more questions about the new item references in base Business Central you will need to contact your Business Central partner or Microsoft.
