      Hi all,

Getting a weird bug where no matter how I move the orders around it always changes the ‘start date’ to the current work date. Which means I can’t schedule anything unless it was ‘today’ is there a field I need to change to disable this? My configurations for the view hasn’t given any insight, and neither does the graphical scheduler setup table.

      Any help would be appreciated.

        Ok Update

So the issue appears to actually be the Sales Order shipment Date.

What is being viewed in the Scheduler is Resource Type Sales Lines. Whenever I try and change the start date of the Sales line it automatically changes it back to Sales Order shipment date (which in the above post was the work date).  Changing the shipment date on the sales order changed the default date for the Sales Line (for example Nov 22). But the bug still persists since any time I change the date for the Sales Line it defaults back to the Sales Order Shipment date. Is there a way to overcome this? Or am I stuck only being able to change the Resource type and not also the day itself?

Solution:  Add the shipment date as a validation rule at the bottom.

            Hello Lindsay,

I think you may need to review the configuration of the data source. Open up the view in question and click on “Configure” in the “Configure What Displays in This view” section of the view. You need to change the field called “Starting Field No.” in the “When Is It” section.
This will configure what date is visible and used as columns in the Graphical Scheduler. I believe when you select table 37 for Sales Lines on “What Is It”, “Table No.” you will automatically get field #5795 as the “Starting Field No.” in the “When Is It” section which is the planned Shipment date. Instead, you likely want the actual Shipment date #10 in this field instead of 5795.
In my test I also removed the Ending Field No. in that same section.
In addition, in the “What Order To change Fields when Writing” section you need to set  “Starting Date and Time” in the bottom section.
You can also change the tooltip displayed and the contents of the cell in the Cell Template found in the data source section of the view.
If you have any further issues I would recommend you send us an email at support@dmsiworks.com.
            Thank you,
