    Hi Brett,

    Thanks for reaching out! When updating Warehouse Insight on Android devices, you will not need to uninstall the application. There are a couple of ways to update the software on the handhelds.     If the extension has been updated to another version, you may follow the process here: Update Warehouse Insight on Business Central SaaS – Insight Works Knowledge Base (dmsiworks.com)

    After performing the “Update Data” action in Business Central, there should be a prompt on the Warehouse Insight application on the scanners to update the software to the latest version. It is important to download and install this update on the scanners to ensure they are on the correct version for the installed extension in Business Central. If this prompt does not appear on the Warehouse Insight application, you can select Menu > Reload Config to trigger the update prompt.

    If you don’t see a prompt on the scanners to update the application, you can obtain the Android APK download from the Warehouse Insight Installation Report in BC and manually update the scanners. To manually update the scanners, you can scan the Android Devices barcode into a web browser’s URL field on the scanner to download and update the application.
