Use the Package Worksheet in Dynamic Ship

The following information provides an overview of the basic shipping process in Dynamic Ship. Prior to shipping, ensure all setup and configuration is completed.

Use the Package Worksheet

  1. Navigate to the Dynamic Ship Package Worksheet in Business Central.
  2. Enter the applicable Sales Order Number or the Warehouse Shipment Number (if using Warehouse Shipments).
  3. Input one of the following into the Scan Here field:
    • Use the Pack Command ‐‐NEW to open a container (assigns a License Plate number to the container in the Current Package).
    • Input License Plate Template’s Pack Commands into the Scan Here field (see Create License Plate Templates).
  1. Scan or input the item number.
  2. Enter the quantity.
  3. Use the Pack Command ‐‐PACKDETAIL (if not already open) and update the container’s length, width, height, and weight as needed.
  4. Use the Pack Command ‐‐GETLABEL to get the label.
  5. Use the Pack Command ‐‐POST to complete the shipment.

Use Pack Selected

  1. Navigate to the Dynamic Ship Package Worksheet in Business Central.
  2. Enter the applicable Sales Order Number or the Warehouse Shipment Number (if using Warehouse Shipments).
  3. Input one of the following into the Scan Here field:
    • Use the Pack Command ‐‐NEW to open a container (assigns a License Plate number to the container in the Current Package).
    • Input License Plate Template’s Pack Commands into the Scan Here field (see Create License Plate Templates).
  4. Select … beside the item number and select Select More when not using lot or serial numbers (optional).
  5. Select Packing and select Pack Selected (for multiple lines) to assign the selected items to one License Plate (not recommended when the shipper must re
  6. enter or confirm Lot numbers) (optional).
  7. Use the Pack Command ‐‐PACKDETAIL (if not already open) and update the container’s length, width, height, and weight as needed.
  8. Use the Pack Command ‐‐GETLABEL to get the label.
  9. Use the Pack Command ‐‐POST to complete the shipment.
