Use the Order Fulfillment Worksheet

You are here:

Recalculate Availability

Press Recalculate to recalculate the availability and allocation for the displayed orders. You can filter the orders or sort them beforehand to influence the calculations and subsequent availability. Orders are calculated top down.

The Qty. Allocated is set to the combined value of the Qty. Available to Pick and the Qty. Available to Move up to the maximum quantity needed for the line.

Press Reload Orders to refresh order information (such as the addition/deletion/update of orders and order lines, shipment and pick counts) and to recalculate the availability and allocations in the process.

Split Allocation

Press Split Allocation to recalculate the availability and allocation for the displayed orders. You can filter the orders or sort them beforehand to influence the calculations and subsequent availability. Orders are calculated top down.

The Qty. Allocated is set based on evenly distributing the Qty. Available to Pick and Qty. Available to Move across all orders.

Create Warehouse Shipments

Press Create Shipment(s) creates warehouse shipments for the selected orders. If the order is already completely on a shipment, no additional shipment is created. If only part of the order is on a shipment, an additional shipment is created. Warehouse shipments are created regardless of availability or quantity allocated.

To create combined warehouse shipments, set the Combine Shipments option on the Order Fulfillment Worksheet Setup page to either Prompt or Always. If the setting is Prompt, a confirmation dialog asks if the order should be combined prior to create the warehouse shipments.

Create Picks

Press Create Pick(s) to create picks (warehouse or inventory based on location configuration) for the selected orders.

When creating warehouse picks, the Create Pick dialog allows multiple options and configuration choices such as:

  • Setting the maximum number of lines per pick
  • Grouping by zones
  • Grouping by bins
  • Grouping by due dates

Inventory Picks are per order.

When created, picks use the Qty. Allocated specified on the line to limit the pick quantities. This may result in partially picked orders.

The Order Fulfillment Worksheet does not currently support the use of order reservations against non-pickable bin quantities.

If warehouse shipments are also required, they are automatically created on a per order basis (no combined shipments).

The Order Fulfillment Worksheet does not currently support pick creation for multiple open shipments against an order.

Use the Pick Worksheet

Press Send to Worksheet to create pick worksheet lines for the selected orders and open the pick worksheet, allowing you to create more changes before creating the required picks.

If warehouse shipments are also required, they are automatically created on a per order basis (no combined shipments).
