With Shop Floor Insight 7.12 configured to use Quality Inspector to capture quality inspections, you can use ad-hoc quality inspections with job tasks.

1. Navigate to Quality Inspector Source Configuration List in Business Central.
2. Select +New.
3. Modify the following fields:
   • Code: JOBTASK
   • Description: (description as required; e.g., Job Task QI)
   • From Table: 1001 / Project Task / Job Task.
4. Modify the following fields in the What Information Should be Added To the Test section:
   • Project No.: Document No. / Source Document No.
   • Project Task No.: Task No. / Source Task No.
   • Location Code: Location Code (You may need to remove the field filter)
5. Navigate to the Quality Inspection Templates, select the required template, and select Test Generation Rules.
6. Create a rule to table 1001 / Job Task / Project Task.
7. Scan your badge to log into the Shop Floor Insight web client and clock into a job task.

8. Select Record to see the normal Quality Inspection Test.
