Service Endorsement Options

You are here:
  1. Navigate to Package Worksheet in Business Central and load your document.
  2. Input “‐‐new” into the Scan Here field and complete one of the following:
    • Select Package Options.
    • Input “‐‐packoption” into the Scan Here field.
  3. Select Show More and locate the Service Endorsement field.
  4. Select the required endorsement to use when delivery has failed:
    • Address Service Requested: Forwarding and return; new separate address notification provided. Supported by USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
    • Forwarding Service Requested: Forwarding and return; new address notification provided only with return. Supported by USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
    • Change Service Requested: No forwarding or return; new address notification provided. If undeliverable, the reason is provided to the sender. Supported by USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
    • Return Service Requested: No forwarding, only return; new address notification provided. Supported by USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
    • Leave If No Response: Leaves the mail in an unsecured location if no one is there to receive it. Supported by USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
    • Electronic Service Requested: Provides electronic notification of undeliverable mail. Supported by USPS.
    • Temporary Return Service Requested: Piece returned with new address or reason for non-delivery attached; if temporary change of address, piece forwarded; no separate notice of temporary change of address provided. Supported by USPS.
    • No Return To Sender: The mail is considered undeliverable and abandoned. Supported by UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
