Refresh PrintNode Printers List

Note: PrintNode has a default limit of 100 printers per account, so it is important to stop sharing all unused printers (e.g., Print To Fax, Print To PDF, Print To OneNote, Print To XPS, and any other unused printer drivers). If you still have over 100 printers after cleaning up the list, change PrintNode Printers List URL to “https://api.printnode.com/printers?limit=250” on the PrintNode Setup page.
Refresh your PrintNode Printers list to remove any unused printers and be able to locate your printers more efficiently.
- Log into your PrintNode app.
- Un-share all printers you are not using and do not plan to use (especially virtual printers such as fax, PDF, and XPS drivers).
- Log into your PrintNode account and remove inactive printers.
- Navigate to Insight Works PrintNode Printers in Business Central and remove OFFLINE printers:
- Select the printer’s line and select Remove PrintNode Printer.
- Repeat previous step as needed until all OFFLINE printers are removed.
- Select Update PrintNode Printers to refresh the list.
If the above instructions did not refresh the PrintNode Printers list,
- Save the Printer Selection table (78) with a config package.
- Navigate to Insight Works PrintNode Setup.
- Select Actions and select Load/Reload PrintNode Printers.
- Confirm it resets the printer list.
This wipes out old printer settings and re-builds the list from scratch. You must reapply required Printer Selections from the configuration package or else created manually.
