You must set up the following to ensure the schedule gets constrained:

• Each of the operations on the routing lines have the “Secondary Constraints” set to “Schedule”.
• Have the “Constraint Type” set to “Constrain” and “Fence Type” set to “Global” or “Item” on the item card for each of the constraints.
  • If “Fence Type” is set to “Item”, MxAPS uses the item’s defined Lead Time for when the item is automatically replenished.
  • If “Fence Type” is set to “Global”, MxAPS uses the defined “Global Lead Time” which is set when generating a schedule.
  • If you would like no auto replenishment, set one of the following:
    • The “Global Lead Time” value to exceed the “Schedule Duration”.
    • The item “Lead Time” to be greater than the maximum schedule duration of 365 days.
