Service Configuration Details

For OAuth impersonate, the username is the Business Central service account’s authentication email and the password is the account’s Business Central password. If you are using Business Central On Prem, the username comes from the Business Central service account’s Username field and the password is the Web Service Access Key.

For service-to-service authentication, there is no entry in the Windows Credential Manager. The authentication method requires someone to grant consent via the Microsoft Entra Applications for the Shop Floor Insight entry in Business Central. For more information, please see the Access and Configure Service-to-Service Authentication in Shop Floor Insight page.
