Quality Inspection Test Values

The Quality Inspection Test Values page lists recorded Quality Inspection Test Line values. It is intended to make it easier to analyze changes in measured values over time and to review the grade, numeric value, notes, and audit details for individual test lines.

Business Central ‘Analysis Views’ can be used to help pivot the data, or the data can be quickly exported to Excel or Power BI for further analysis.

What can be configured

The page is primarily an analysis list. When permitted by Quality Inspector permissions, users can edit the measurement note associated with a line.

Default fields include:

Visible information by default

The list is sorted by test number, retest number, and line number in descending test order so newer test values are easier to find first. Specification instructions and notes may be visible in fact boxes depending on edition and permissions.

Actions

  • Assist-edit on Note opens the read-only or editable measurement note page depending on the user’s permissions.
  • Standard list filtering can be used to analyze by template, item-related fields, field code, grade, date/time, or value.
