The Quality Inspection Test Results Matrix analyzes Quality Inspection Tests in a wide table format by doing a pivot without an analysis view to show field codes across the top. It can show either recorded test values or grades across dynamic columns for the fields available on the selected template.

The first 32 field codes that are discovered based on the filters will be the field codes shown on the page.

This page exists largely for backwards compatibility and supporting older versions of Business Central, consider using analysis views in Business Central on the Quality Inspection Test Values instead to pivot the data with more flexibility.

What can be configured

Header filters include:

Field Purpose
Template Optionally limits analysis to a specific template.
Show Chooses whether dynamic columns show test values or grades.

Default test columns include:

Field Purpose
Template Code Template used to create the test.
Description Description of the test.
Status Test status, such as Open or Finished.
Grade Code / Grade Description / Grade Priority Overall grade information for the test.
Source Table No. Table that the quality inspection is for.
Source Document No. / Source Line No. Source document and line references.
Serial No. / Lot No. / Package No. Item tracking references.
No. / Retest No. Quality inspection document number and retest iteration.
Item No. / Variant Code Item references for the test.
Created Date / Created By User ID Test creation audit fields.
Last Modified Date / Last Modified By User ID Test modification audit fields.
Dynamic Field Columns Up to 32 template-driven columns that show field values or grades.

This will typically be showing the test value, but you can configure instead to show the grade result.

The first 32 fields encountered will be the first 32 fields shown.

Visible information by default

The matrix displays tests newest-first with static source/test columns followed by dynamic columns whose captions come from the template fields being analyzed.

Actions

Use the Template and Show controls to refresh the analysis context and switch between value analysis and grade analysis.
