Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules

A Quality Inspection Test Generation Rule defines when Quality Inspector should create a test from a template. A rule connects a Quality Inspection Template to a source table and applies criteria such as source filters, item filters, attribute filters, and automation triggers. When rule criteria match, the configured template is used; when multiple rules match, rules are evaluated by sort order.

What can be configured

Generation rules control both the template that will be used and the event that should cause test creation.
