Scheduling Rules

The MxAPS Scheduling Rules page allows you to define scheduling rules. Scheduling rules define the way operations of production orders are sequenced within each production cell; this affects the order the scheduling engine considers them for placement, impacting the final schedule.

After creating a new scheduling rule, edit the rule to define the parameters and sorting method used when evaluating the scheduling rule. Assign scheduling rules to production cells and assign production cells to production order routing lines and work centers and/or machine centers to modify the schedule.

Scheduling Rules Tooltips

Field/Control Name FastTab or FactBox Caption Tooltip
Rule Code   Code Specifies a code that defines the scheduling rule.
Hole On Parameter Code   Hole On Specifies the point of indifference for the hole algorithm.
