The MxAPS Alternate Group Card page allows you to define which work centers and machine centers that are part of a work center group. An alternate group represents a collection of one or more work centers and machine centers that can be used to process an operation.

Alternate Group Card Tooltips

Field/Control Name FastTab or FactBox Caption Tooltip
Alternate Group No. General No. Specifies the number of this alternate group.
Name General Name Specifies the name of this alternate group.
Type Alternate Machines Type Specifies the type of equipment this alternate group record is.
No. Alternate Machines No. Specifies the work center or machine center that is a part of this alternate group.
IWX Mx Preference Alternate Machines Preference Specifies the duration of the preference for choosing this work center or machine center over others that can also process the operation. Larger durations indicate more preference.
IWX Mx Active Mch. Alt. Alternate Machines Active Machine Alternate Specifies if this alternate should be considered or ignored.
IWX Mx Min Order Quantity Alternate Machines Minimum Order Quantity Specifies the minimum production order quantity, in the base unit of measure, for this alternate to be considered valid.
IWX Mx Max Order Quantity Alternate Machines Maximum Order Quantity Specifies the maximum production order quantity, in the base unit of measure, for this alternate to be considered valid.
IWX Mx Setup Multiplier Alternate Machines Setup Multiplier Specifies the setup time adjustment factor that applies to the production order routing line setup time when using this alternate.
IWX Mx Run Multiplier Alternate Machines Run Multiplier Specifies the run time adjustment factor that applies to the production order routing line run time when using this alternate.
IWX Mx Preference Mask Alternate Machines Preference Mask Specifies if machine sets should be considered for this alternate.
