With Quality Inspector, you can configure your system to create tests automatically when a purchase order is released. Complete the following:

1. Create a Test Generation Rule (for a specific item or for a category of items) and:
   1. Ensure that it uses the Purchase Line table,
   2. Set the Activation Trigger to either “Manual or Automatic” or “Automatic Only”, and
   3. Set the Purchase Trigger to “When Purchase Order is Released”.

Once configured, a test is automatically generated when a purchase order is released, and a test is created for each item purchase line. If item tracking is enabled and tracking information is available at the time of release, a test generates for each tracking number.
