Dynamic Ship Email Setup

Dynamic Ship can email the tracking information for a shipment.

  1. Search for SMTP Mail Setup to fill in email server settings or select Apply Office 365 Server Settings (if available).
  1. Click the Test Email Setup button (the customer requires a valid email address set up on their account).
  2. Search for Dynamic Ship Setup to choose your preferences for the tracking email.
  3. Set the email trigger for during the Get Label process or after posting the document (After Post trigger only works from within Dynamic Ship).
  4. Choose where the email is retrieved from in relation to the order (e.g., which field on the Sales Order to use to look up the Customer).
  5. Define a minimum of one email template to use.
  1. Click Parameter Help to see what variable text can be added to the email.
  2. Open Dynamic Ship Customer Options to set individual customers to use an alternate email address or template.
  3. Modify the following fields:
    1. Customer No. (required)
    2. Ship-To Code (required)
    3. Shipping Agent Code (optional)
    4. Service (optional)

    Will this feature be migrated to the new BC e-mail capabilities in an upcoming release?

      Drew, this feature is part of the Dynamic Ship development roadmap and will be released in a future update.
