Display Firm Planned and Planned Production Orders in Graphical Scheduler

The default view in a Graphical Scheduler install shows production order routing lines. This article shows you how to display firm planned and planned production orders; there are two methods to displaying these production orders covered in this article:

  • Include additional status types on the default production order routing line filters
  • Add additional datasources with different filters

Include additional status types on the default production order routing line filters

The following steps show you how to display firm planned and planned production orders by altering filters on the default released production order routing line.

  1. Navigate to Graphical Scheduler in Business Central.
  2. Select View.
  3. Complete one of the following:
    • Select a pre-existing view and select the icon / Edit.
    • Select New to create a new view.
  4. Locate default added datasource (e.g., PRODUCTION, or RELPRODW, or similar) in the Configure What Displays In This View section.
  1. Select the Filter field / the icon.
  2. Select the Status dropdown and enable the following options as needed:
    • Simulated
    • Planned
    • Firm Planned
    • Released
    • Finished
  3. Select OK.

Add additional datasources with different filters

  1. Navigate to Graphical Scheduler in Business Central.
  2. Select View.
  3. Complete one of the following:
    • Select a pre-existing view and select the icon / Edit.
    • Select New to create a new view.
  4. Locate the Configure What Displays In This View section.
  5. Select the icon / New.
  6. Select the required option and select OK.
  7. Select the Filter field / the icon.
  8. Select +Filter, input Status, and enable options as needed.
  9. Select OK.
  10. Modify the filter as needed.
  11. Create new filters as needed.
