This feature makes it easier to define simple and common generation rules and reduce the likelihood of data entry error.

Complete the following to create a production rule:

1. Navigate to Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules in Business Central.
2. Select Create Production Rule.
3. Select the Choose Template option you want to create a rule for.
4. Select Next.
5. Modify the fields as needed (select Click here to choose advanced fields… for more options).
6. Select Next.
7. Modify the fields as needed (select Click here to choose advanced fields… for more options).
8. Select Next.
9. Modify the item filters and the other table filters as needed.
10. Enable the Do you want to automatically create tests when these are produced? field if needed.

11. Select Finish.
