Generating a released production order from Sales Order Planning can automatically create one or more tests.

Prerequisites

• Have run Quality Inspector Assisted Setup.
• Have a production-related source configuration (e.g., the default Order Routing Line to Test source configuration).
• Have a Quality Inspection Template.

Setup

1. Navigate to the Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules List page in Business Central.
2. Edit the list and either create a new rule (or modify an existing generation rule) with an intent of Production.
3. Set the Production Trigger field to “When Released Order is Created from Sales Planning”.

Create a test

1. Navigate to the Sales Orders page in Business Central.
2. Select the required Sales Order.
3. Select Actions / Plan / Planning.
4. Select Create Prod. Order.
5. Set the Prod. Order Status field to “Released” and select Yes.

Creates one or more tests based on the configured generation rule.
