You can create periodic tests, or scheduled tests, at specific times on specific days. You can use these tests for:

• Occasional inventory checks
• Microbial fermentation monitoring in vessels and similar scenarios
• 5s daily audits or other workstation checks
• Weekly CIP (Clean-In-Place) validations
• Monthly calibration tests and similar scenarios
• Facility readiness checks
• Start-of-shift checks

You can create multiple schedules for the same schedule group, and you can use same schedule group with multiple test generation rules. You can also ignore schedule groups and manually schedule report 23067647 IWX QI Schedule Test with the job queue capabilities included out of the box with Business Central.

Create a new schedule

1. Navigate to the Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules list page in Business Central.
2. Enable editing of the list.
3. Select a test generation rule row to create a test for and ensure it has the following:
   • A condition filter or an item filter.
   • The test generation rule is enabled.
4. Locate the Schedule Group column, input a new name (e.g., CIP), and press Tab.
5. Select Yes when prompted with “There is no job queue entry yet for the schedule group of CIP. Do you want to create one?”

6. Select Yes when prompted with “A job queue entry has been made to help schedule this group of CIP. Do you want to see it?”

7. Locate the new job queue entry and edit it.
8. Navigate to the Recurrence group and configure the schedule as desired.
9. Enable the job queue when ready.

Create additional schedules for the same schedule group

1. Navigate to the Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules list page (in Business Central) with an already defined schedule group defined.
2. Select the button / Create a Job Queue Entry.

Now you can create additional schedules for the same schedule group.

Identify the schedule group’s job queue entries

Option One

1. Navigate to the Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules list page (in Business Central) with an already defined schedule group defined.
2. Select the button on the requited row’s Schedule Group field.

The job queue list opens filtered to the job queue entries matching the schedule group.

Option Two

1. Navigate to the Quality Inspection Test Generation Rules list page (in Business Central) with an already defined schedule group defined.
2. Select the button / Job Queue Entries.
