To check the current version of the product, navigate to Extension Management and scroll to the Product Configurator card.
Product Configurator configurations are designed to create or find items based on user selection from pre-defined options and choices.
Sales personnel and production planners often encounter inefficiencies performing their roles in searching for the correct part number to quote and setting up new assembly or production items. Whether you sell simple items with only a few configurable options or more complex items with thousands of options, Product Configurator reduces data entry time while increasing order accuracy.
After choosing “Free Trial” in AppSource, the Product Configurator extension will be installed in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. No further action is required.
Once the item categories, options, and option choices are set up, you can create or find items based on the configuration using the Configurator BOM Designer worksheet.
