Capture an Image on a Scanner Using Warehouse Insight

Capturing images on a scanner is now built in to allow for you to take pictures on the scanner. Complete the following steps to modify or extend as required:

  1. Navigate to the Warehouse Insight Device Menus page in Business Central.
  2. Select the Form field’s dropdown menu and select Application.
  3. Select the Application field’s … button and select WHSE_RECEIPT_DOC from the lookup list.
  1. Create a new Menu at the end with the following properties:
    • Caption: Take Picture
    • Event ID: 976
    • Require Line : YES
    • Standard Action: Take Picture
