Can I get a free Insight Works app for an on-premises deployment?
Free apps from Insight Works are only available for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS. If you are running an on-premises deployment, access to a free app requires an active subscription to at least one of our paid apps.

Why aren’t free apps available for on-premises without a paid subscription?
Providing apps for on-premises installations involves additional costs, including:

  • Custom builds for your specific Business Central version
  • Administrative setup
  • Partner or user education
  • Remote access for troubleshooting

These factors make it impractical to offer on-premises versions of our free apps without a supporting paid subscription.

No, at this time, we do not offer a one-time fee option for acquiring a free app on-premises. The complexities of setup, compatibility, and ongoing support mean that handling these requests on a per-instance basis is costly and impractical.
