      Hi,

      We started to use DHIP for our warehouse recently. When we post we have print and invoice option and email gets sent to customers automatically using below.

      Dynamic Ship E-mail Template List.

      However, the problem is the attachement does not seem to follow the report setting for ther user for posting.

      For example,  my setting has discount- ON (I cannot attach screenshot) but the invoice attachement that is sent out to customer has discount – OFF setting and doesn’t display discount and customers are confused and complaining about it.

      Where can I change the setting?

      I tried “Test Configuration” but changing that doesn’t change the setting.

        The invoice report that is used for an attachment is the report layout that is defined in the Email Template, not the report from user settings.

        If you want to email the report from user settings, I would recommend talking to your Business Central about using the base Business Central email and post function.

        Otherwise, you would need to setup multiple email templates – one for each report layout, then assign the templates to the associated customer on the Customer Options page:

          I am using Dynamic Ship E-mail Template List. I am using the same custom report layout that I have been using but I cannot change the filter settings (report setting)  Discount is toggled off and I cannot make it toggle on?

              There are no settings in Dynamic Ship for report filters in the email template without requiring a customization. Out of the box you would need either multiple Report IDs or multiple Layout IDs if you want the email attachment to process differently. If you are interested in a customization for this, please email support@dmsiworks.com with the details to get an estimate.

              Otherwise, if you want to email the report from user settings, I would recommend talking to your Business Central partner about using the base Business Central email and post function for this attachment instead of attaching it to the tracking email.
